The Greensboro Farmers Market (501 Yanceyville Street) will host their "Love Your Local” French Toast Fundraiser Breakfast on Saturday, February 19 from 8am -11:30 am.

The "Love your Local” French Toast Breakfast fundraiser event is an annual celebration of local ingredients available from market producers and farmers during the Winter Market.

Guest chef Tracy Furman (Riva's Italian Trattoria, Blue Spoon Cafe & Cooking school) will prepare this tasty breakfast signature recipe featuring French Toast made with farm-fresh eggs from Massey Creek Farms and thickly sliced sour dough artisan bread from Piedmont International Bakery.

The plate is $8 per dish which includes two slices of French Toast with a choice of toppings (butter, syrup, jam, honey). A choice of sides include Neese’s Country Sausage patty or bacon or orange juice for an additional $2.

Breakfast will be served "to go" to enjoy at home or dine in the Market café.

Proceeds from monthly fundraisers benefit Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit, to underwrite food security programs and operations.

Tickets can be purchased here or in person at the Market info hub on Saturdays prior to the event. A limited number of plates will be available to purchase on the day of the event.
